Recently I'm going to release a virtual router, I need two NIC, one is for WAN, the other is for LAN. But my laptop had got only one NIC. So I'm trying to solve this problem by using virtual machine, but it seemed that every virtual NIC of VMWare seemed
has got very specific funcationality, like bridge, NAT, so how can I solve this problem? or just I haven't fully understand VMWare's virtual NIC?
This is very important for me now, if I have more computer or if I more NIC can be supported by this D620 laptop, then it would be much convenient.
The on-going release for IPTV to simulate VoD process and streaming control of IGMP/RTCP/RTP also relies on this.
